SUBJECT Schools - NH - Keene

DESCRIPTION Postcard of the old Keene High School building. It was built in 1912-13 on the Coolidge lot on Washington Street, costing about $100,000. Grades 10-12 were in this building, while grades 8-9 were in the former high school, then known as Central Jr. High School. This building became the Keene Junior High (later Keene Middle School) in 1960.
