Juvenile Kaka, Nga Manu, Nr. Wellington 5 June 2005

"This is the North Island cousin of the better known Kea. An endangered species making a comeback through a number of conservation efforts.

Just as cheeky as the Kea, but less fond of windscreen wipers and wing mirrors."
