Summary[edit]

Description
English: Josef Kusý (* February 17, 1909 - May 31, 1942, Prague-Kobylisy, Kobyliská shooting range) from the village of Běleč near Litno in the Beroun region, was a trained bricklayer and in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia he also practiced this profession. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia and the proclamation of the Protectorate, this patriotically-minded Czech became involved in activities connected with the domestic resistance. His colleague at work, also a bricklayer, Josef Minařík (* 18 April 1914) from Halouny introduced the resistance fighter Kusý to the paratrooper Arnošt Mikš from the ZINC paratroopers. Kusý then hid Arnošt Mikš in his house for some time.
