Notes Die Episode: Philemon und Baucis durften sich etwas wünschen. Sie wollten in diesem Tempel wohnen und den Göttern dienen. Aufgrund dieses Wunsches gewährten ihnen die Götter noch einen Wunsch. ...Philemon und Baucis wünschten sich, den Anderen nicht sterben zu sehen. Sie verwandelten sich im hohen Alter gleichzeitig in Bäume: Philemon in eine Linde, den Baum der Aphrodite, Baucis in eine Eiche.[1]
