Description
Español: Licaón ofrece carne humana a Júpiter. Éste lo destruye con el rayo vengador y lo transforma en lobo. Relato de Ovidio en el libro I de Las Metamorfosis, que sirvió a Rubens para realizar un boceto sobre tabla con motivo del encargo para la Torre de la Parada. Jan Cossiers, ayudante de Rubens en el proyecto, lo emplea en este cuadro (1636-1638) pintado al óleo sobre lienzo.
