Description

Israelis carrying guns are a common site. Except for soldiers/police on duty, the guns are holstered (if a pistol) or slung across the back or shoulder (if a rifle or uzi). The person in the red shirt was the only person I saw who walked with his hand on his gun, often slinging it around. This picture is taken on El Wad Rd. which runs between Damascus Gate and the Western Wall in the Muslim Quarter. The blue streak up ahead is an Israel flag banner on the building Ariel Sharon owns.
