Summary[edit]

Description Yes, the bus is driving down the street permanently leaning. The cause for this is overcrowding where people are forced to ride hanging onto the outside of the bus. Eventually, as in this case, the shocks must give and many of these large rumbling city buses take on a permanent lean. It is just one of those normal-weird things plying the streets of Chennai. As you might imagine, sitting or standing for an hour commute on such a lean is not particularly comfortable, but everyone seems to take it in stride.
