Reportage / Serie : [DLC} Verbrande Chinezen / Malang
Beschrijving : In de straat Gadang in Malang (Oost-Java) zijn 21 Chinezen - na mishandeld te zijn - opgesloten in een conservenfabriek. Het gebouw werd daarna in brand gestoken, zodat de Chinezen in de vlammen omkwamen. De hoofddader van deze gruwelijke misdaad is een zekere Lasmoe, die zich door zijn methode van intimidatie van de bevolking zo veilig voelde, dat hij in Malang achterbleef toen de Nederlandse troepen deze stad bezetten. Op aanwijzing van de bevolking werd hij gevangengenomen, zodat hij zijn gerechte straf niet kon ontsnappen
