Ce petit masque était autrefois associé à une combinaison en tissu coloré, pourvue d'une poitrine postiche, permettant au danseur d'adopter l'apparence d'une jeune fille. Le visage étroit, aux traits aigus, reprend de façon exagérée, les critères de la beauté en pays igbo.  : cartel du musée des Confluences.
