Description
Italiano: Lapide funeraria pavimentale (attribuita a Jacopino da Tradate) di Agnese Besozzi († 1417), moglie di Gaspare Visconti. La lapide è stata murata in posizione verticale sotto il monumento funebre dei Visconti di Angera, nella seconda cappella Visconti della Chiesa di Sant'Eustorgio a Milano. I cognomi e gli stemmi nobiliari di questi sepolcri sono stati tutti accuratamente scalpellati, probabilmente nel periodo successivo alla Rivoluzione Francese. Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 1-3-2007.
English: Floor gravestone (attributed to Jacopino da Tradate) for Agnese Besozzi († 1417), wife to Gaspare Visconti. The plaque is now displaied vertically beneath the funerary monument of the House of Visconti of Angera, housed in the second Visconti chapel inside Sant'Eustorgio church at Milan, Italy. Surnames and coats of arms have been carefully chiselled away from these graves, likely in the period following the French Revolution. Picture by Giovanni Dall'Orto, March 1 2007.
