Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Kića Humane Society was founded in September 1933 in Belgrade, by employees of the State Printing House. The company was named after its friend Vitomir Gavrilović Kića, who passed away on July 2, 1933, and out of the founders' desire to preserve the memory of him in that way. The initiative for the establishment of this company was given by Vlastimir Budimirović, the former manager of the State Printing House. The aim of the society was to issue financial aid in the event of the death of regular members and to help their families, if necessary. In addition, the society worked to supply as many poor children of its deceased and unemployed members with clothes and shoes every year. The society celebrated St. Cyril and Methodius, which was also the glory of the State Printing House.
