Summary[edit]

Description
English: 235-9 West Main Ave, adjacent to the Salvation Army Bldg. Designed by Preusse & Zittel, built in 1909 for clothier Phineas Saffron. In 1939 it became the annex to the Palm Hotel which once stood to the East. The building was converted to apartments in the 1940s known as the Avenue Apartments, later rented by the Salvation Army for men's lodgings.
