English: War memorial of Hopsten, Kreis Steinfurt, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a listed cultural heritage monument.
Deutsch: Altartisch im Ehrenmal in Hopsten, Kreis Steinfurt, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Im Altartisch sind die Worte Opfer der Weltkriege 1914-1918 - 1939-1945 eingemeißelt. Die Sandsteintafel am Fuß des Altartisches wurde im Jahr 2006 angebracht. Sie erinnert an die ehemaligen jüdischen Mitbürger der Gemeinde, die während der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus vertrieben bzw. ermordet worden sind. Die Inschrift lautet Zum Andenken an unsere jüdischen Gemeindemitglieder. Über der Inschrift befindet sich ein Davidstern, der ursprünglich deutlich herausstach, mittlerweile jedoch - aus welchen Gründen auch immer - nur noch schwer erkennbar ist.
