Description
Dansk: Holbergstatuen, afsløret 13. juli 1898. Bag ved Ny Alumnat er Ludvig Holberg statuen placeret. Statuen er skabt af billedhuggeren Vilhelm Bissen og bronzestøbningen er udført af kongelig Zink- og metalstøber Lauritz Rasmussen. Statuen kaldes populært for Holberg og hans to koner, fordi der på hver side af Holbergfiguren er placeret en muse – til venstre historiens muse Clio, og til højre komediedigtningens muse, Thalia.
