Deutsch: Die Schenkenwaldbrücke war für mich ein wichtiger Ort, um mich für die Eisenbahn zu interessieren und begeistern. Wie oft stand ich oben auf ihr, um die durchbrausenden Züge zu erleben. Auch wenn ich dort keine Dampfloks mehr erlebt habe, war das sehr beeindruckend.
Anfang März musste die über einhundert Jahre alte Brücke, erbaut wurde diese wohl im Zusammenhang mit dem zweigleisigen Ausbau der Südbahn, weichen. Die Oberleitung hätte keinen Platz gehabt. Es scheint so, als ob nach einigem hin- und her doch wieder eine neue Brücke an dieser Stelle entstehen soll. |
