Čeština: Zakreslený obdélník představuje celou lidskou společnost nebo její reprezentativní vzorek. Uvnitř obdélníku existuje jakési heterosexuálně homosexuální kontinuum, spojité spektrum, od levého, heterosexuálního okraje, kde jsou umístěny osoby jednoznačně heterosexuálně orientované, až po pravý, homosexuální okraj, při němž stojí osoby jednoznačně homosexuálně vyhraněné. Tato vyhraněnost se týká prožívání, tedy toho, kým je osoba pohlavně vzrušována a přitahována, zda osobou stejného, nebo opačného pohlaví. Mezi těmito krajními polohami se nacházejí osoby schopné vzrušit se jak objektem opačného, tak objektem stejného pohlaví. (...) Poměr této heterosexuální a homosexuální vzrušivosti je přiližně vyznačen zakreslenou křivkou. Svislá přerušovaná čára představuje poměr heterosexuální a homosexuální vzrušivosti 1:1, tedy bisexuálně zaměřené osoby. |
