Français : Gravure basée sur un daguerréotype montrant Henri Lambert, marchand, explorateur et agent consulaire de France à Aden, dont l'assassinat dans le golfe de Tadjoura en 1859 allait entraîner en 1862 l'achat du Territoire d'Obock, qui allait devenir la Côte française des Somalis (Djibouti). Gravure tirée du volume 6 (1862, 2e sem.) de la revue Le Tour du Monde.
English: Engraving based on a daguerreotype showing Henri Lambert, merchant and explorer, whose assassination in the Gulf of Tadjoura in 1859 was to be instrumental in bringing about the purchase by France in 1862 of the territory of Obock, later to become French Somaliland (Djibouti). Engraving published in the magazine Le Tour du Monde in 1862.
