Summary[edit]

Description
English: Headstone, Carlingford. See 397284. This headstone marks the grave of John Rodgers, master of the sloop "Brothers" of Beaumaris who died on 16th September 1826. Whether his death was natural causes, an accident or a shipwreck is not stated. There was a sloop the "Brothers" built in 1820 for the Treweek family of Amlwch but whether there is a connection I know not.
