| Description |
English: My garage project. Spent the evening in the garage with my Harley and my Canon. Wife believes I may be going mad. She might be right, but whats better then Photography or riding the Harley.
Process: Equipment: Canon T1i, Sigma 10-20mm, Tripod, Trigger, Flashlight Settings: Shutter 30 sec - F22 - ISO 100 Process: 17 images created and merged in Photoshop Elements. I shot about 30 images, but only really like 17 of them for the project. During each image I picked various locations on the bike and painted in the light with my flashlight. Shooting in RAW is key to quality in post. I was able to change the exposure value and play with other levels, prior to bringing the image into Photoshop. I also took one completely dark exposure for the final layer. Important to remember once focus is set, the lens is placed into manual, so each new shot does not try to refocus in the dark. This was only my second time doing this type imagery. I really enjoy this process, it feels more like a form of art, rather than just pointing your camera and letting the shutter fly.
