日本語: 関東大震災から一昼夜を経た大正十二年九月二日、まだ頻繁な余震が続き、市内の至る所がまだくすぶるなかで、赤坂離宮では広芝の御茶屋を急遽臨時の宮殿仮施設に仕立て上げる作業が進んでいた。市中の送電が止まって真っ暗闇となり燭灯と提灯でかろうじて照明されたこの御茶屋で、夜の七時半過ぎから第二次山本内閣の親任式が執り行われた。左が内閣総理大臣に任命される海軍大将山本権兵衛伯爵、右が摂政宮皇太子裕仁親王、山本の脇に侍立するのは前加藤友三郎内閣の逓信大臣前田利定子爵。
