| Description | Frankfurt Bockenheim, Solmsstraße 27-37, Zuerich Versicherung AG Niederlassung Deutschland. Hier zog die damals noch "Zürich-Versicherung" genannte Gesellschaft ein, als das am Opernplatz gelegene 68 Meter hohe "Zürich-Haus" 2002 aufgegeben wurde. Heute steht dort der Opernturm. 2018 mietete die Zurich Gruppe Deutschland 17.500 m² Bürofläche im Bürokomplex Pollux, Platz der Einheit 2, an. Das sind 17 der insgesamt 32 Etagen des 130 m hohen Bürohochhauses, deren Eigentümer die US-amerikanische Investmentgesellschaft Blackstone ist. Die Züricher will seine bisher in Frankfurt, Oberursel und Wiesbaden ansässigen Direktionsstandorte in einem Gebäude zusammenführen. Im Pollux sollen einmal rund 1.200 Zurich-Mitarbeiter tätig sein. Der Sitz an der Solmsstraße ist dann wegfallen. Die Solmsstraße 27-37 mit rund 26.500 Quadratmeter Bürofläche ist beinahe 200 Meter lang und als Kammgebäude ausgestaltet. Es gibt sechs "Zinken", die von Westen nach Osten immer länger werden. Neues Behördenzentrum für rund 1.000 Mitarbeiter des Amts für Bau und Immobilien (ABI) und des Stadtschulamts und zunächst für 20 Jahre gemietet, beginnend zweiten Hälfte des Jahres 2021. |
