Deutsch: Villa Cahn, Frauenlobstraße 1, Frankfurt am Mai, Ortsteil Bockenheim; Die Villa Cahn wurde 1928/29 durch den Architekten Dip. Ing. Willi Cahn (* 16.07.1875 + N.N.) erbaut, der u.a. auch das 1929/30 erbaute 4.000 qm große neue Funkhaus im Bauhaus-Stil der Frankfurter Rundfunkgesellschaft in der Eschersheimer Landstraße 33 entwarf. Der damalige neuartige große Sendesaal war nach dem Krieg eine der zwei nicht zerbombten Konzertsäle der Stadt des ansonsten stark zerstörten Gebäudes und dient heute noch der Musikhochschule mit seiner Kapazität für 350 Zuhörer als Veranstaltungsräumlichkeit. Eigentümer der Villa Cahn war bis Kriegsende ein hoher Repräsentant des I.G.Farben-Konzerns. Auch diese Villa wurde nach Kriegsende von der US-Army beschlagnahmt und diente als Residenz hoher US-Militärs. Nach Abzug der Amerikaner wurde zunächst die Bundesrepublik, dann das Land Hessen Eigentümer der Immobilie, die es der Stiftung IBZ Internationales Begegnungszentrum für 50 Jahre unentgeltlich überlies. Bis 1993 ließ die Stiftung das Anwesen für über 8 Millionen DM nach ihren Bedürfnissen entkernen und modernisieren. Heute wird es als sog. Gästehaus II der Goethe-Universität genutzt. Sie ist durch einen weiträumigen Stiftungspark mit der ebenfalls aufwendig sanierten ehemaligen Villa Hauck, dem sog.Gästehaus I , in der Ditmarstraße 4 verbunden.
