Description
Deutsch: Die Friedenstraße ist eine Straße im Berliner Bezirk Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, Ortsteil Friedrichshain. Angelegt und benannt wurde sie 1871-1876 auf dem Communicationsweg außerhalb der abgerissenen Berliner Zollmauer. Bereits seit dem Anlegen und der Bebauung bestand eine Teilung der Straße auf Königstadt und Stralauer Viertel. Aktuell sind es drei unterschiedene Straßenabschnitte: regionale Straßenverbindung im Barnimkiez am Volkspark Friedrichshain, am Platz der Vereinten Nationen als Parkzone, südlich im (Planungsraum) "Friedenstraße" als Ergänzungsstraße. Das Bild zeigt den Blick über den Landsberger Platz/ Landsberger Straße in die Friedenstraße am Friedrichshain entlang.
