English: Former Black Boy School, Stroud. This is the neighbour of 591558 (to the left), and dates from 1844, displaying neo-Gothic features. On the right-hand gable facing the road is a clock with the much older figure of 591616. The girls' school closed in 1964, the building later became the Stroud Teachers' Centre, and is now ... flats. |
