Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image of a patch of fog off the coast of Eastern China and Shanghai on April 15, 2013. The patch of fog was rapidly moving north east at that time, and ship wave cloud formations can be seen off the coast of Shanghai caused by air disturbed by small islands. A smaller fog patch also lingers off southern Shanghai's coast can be seen in the image. Besides Shanghai and fog, on the top left of the image, inter-linking towns can also be seen, along with yellow sediment in the Yellow sea and Eastern China sea.
