Summary[edit]

Description

Soldiers were part of 125 people naturalized at the Statue of Liberty

on the 125th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty, Oct. 28, 2011. In attendance and participating in the Naturalization Ceremony were Sec. of the Interior Ken Salazar, Jonathan B. Jarvis, Superintendant of the National Park Service, and David Lunchsinger, Superintendant of the Statue of Liberty Monument and Ellis Island. This is only the third time a naturalization ceremony has been held at the Statue of Liberty.
