Description
Español: Bandera del municipio de Samaniego (Nariño).

"Tres franjas horizontales de igual dimensiones de color azul, verde y amarillo unidas por un triángulo con los vértices rojos. La primera franja de color azul para significar el azul del cielo y caudal de aguas que posee el municipio. La segunda franja de color amarillo significa la riqueza aurífera y ecológica; representa la riqueza moral de un pueblo. la tercera franja de color verde para significar la exuberante y extensa selva de la región occidental. El triangulo rojo para representar el triunvirato de los hombres que nos dieron patria y vida jurídica, señores: Simón Álvarez, Mariano de la Bastida y Juan Bautista de la Villota."
