Description
Español: Bandera del municipio de Puerto Nare (Antioquia).

BANDERA Por medio del acuerdo Nº 018 de mayo 14 de 1983 el honorable Concejo Municipal adoptó lo siguiente : La bandera está diseñada en franjas horizontales donde la de Antioquia hace marco a dos colores en proporción menor y al extremo izquierdo sobre la franja blanca lleva 5 estrellas. SIGNIFICADO El color blanco representa la pureza, integridad, obediencia, firmeza, vigilancia, elocuencia, vencimiento, inocencia, blancura y virginidad. El color gris representa la riqueza en cemento que posee el municipio. El color verde significa esperanza, abundancia, libertad, servicio, fe, amistad y respeto. La estrella mayor simboliza la cabecera del municipio, las cuatro menores representan los corregimientos existentes para la época. Hoy son tres: La Sierra, La Unión y La Pesca. El cuarto pasó a ser vereda.
