Description
Español: Bandera del municipio de Madrid (Cundinamarca).

"Está diseñada en tres colores, guardando ciertas proporciones en sus medidas.Franja superior: de color verde en un cincuenta por ciento significa la industria agrícola y el color que engalana su paisaje labrantío y fértil.Franja central: de color oro o amarillo, en un veinticinco por ciento, del área total, motivada en la industria y su desarrollo técnico que da progreso al municipio. Además representa la nobleza, magnanimidad, riqueza, luz, constancia y sabiduría del pueblo. Franja inferior: plata o color blanco en otro veinticinco por ciento, representa lo diáfano, la sensatez de su gente, pureza, integridad, obediencia, firmeza, vigilancia, elocuencia.
