Ministry of Information Film Operator John Macdougall stops to chat to a local with a bicycle on his way to Tomintoul, a small village 1200ft up in the Cairngorms. The road ahead is blocked by snow, and the local is advising John on the best way to drive his Ministry of Information van to the village. John is on his way to the Memorial Hall to run a film show which is due to begin at 8pm.
