Description Frankfurt-Bockenheim, Jordanstraße 12, Blick in Hinterhof. Auf diesem Grundstück gründete 1925 der deutsche Ingenieur Max Braun (1890-1951) in Frankfurt am Main die Firma Max Braun, Maschinen- und Apparatebau oHG und legte damit den Grundstein für die Entwicklung des später international erfolgreichen und besonders für seine Produktgestaltung bekannten Unternehmens Braun AG. Bereits ein Jahr später, wechselte Max Braun mit seiner Belegschaft 1926 den Standort und bezieht erste eigene Fabrikräume in der nahen Frankfurter Kiesstraße. 1928 bezieht er sein neues Fabrikgebäude in der Idsteiner Straße im Frankfurter Gallusviertel. Siehe hierzu LAGIS Hessen. Die ehemaligen Gebäude in der Jordanstraße 12 und der Kiesstraße wurden durch Bombentreffer 1944 zerstört. Nach Kriegsende erfolgte eine Wohnraumbebauung.
