| Description |
English: Former Export Leaf Tobacco Company facility at 220 Cherry Street in Oxford, North Carolina. Building was built in about 1927 and used to grade, redry, and strip tobacco purchased in local markets before sending out for export to Europe. It ceased being used for tobacco production in the early 1970s. Currently a contributing building to the Oxford Historic District. |
