Description
English: Exhibition Halls main entrance
  • For many years the corner of Ripon Road and Kings Road was a tatty car park, sometimes covered by temporary exhibition buildings. A hundred years ago a fine public hall stood here [The Cheltenham Spa Rooms] with a classical stone frontage supported by 6 columns.
  • At least the area has been smartened up in the 21st century with a sort of modern interpretation of the original building. The original columns lurk deep in the woods close to Harlow Car gardens.
