Summary[edit]

Description
English: A female officer Cadet covers her arcs in the early hours of the morning, while here platoon lay in wait for their turn to be the attacking platoon.

Exercise Dynamic Victory is the last major hurdle an Officer Cadet has to take before being commissioned as an Army Officer from the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

For the 200 cadets on Commissioning Course No. 202, they found themselves deep in the heart of the Brecon Beacons on the army’s Sennybridge training area for their Ex Dynamic Experience.

The exercise is designed to test each of the cadet’s leadership qualities where it really matters, in the field and in the face of a committed enemy. There are a series of different serials ranging from snap ambushes up to while company sized assaults involving scores of troops with realistic pyrotechnics, simulated explosions and smoke.

Ex Dynamic Victory comes right at the end of a cadets 44-week commissioning course and once complete and they are back at the Academy in Sandhurst, a period of intense drill practice awaits to prepare them for the pomp and ceremony that is the Sovereigns Parade - the grand finale of their time at Sandhurst during which they slow March up the steps of the imposing portico of the iconic Old College building to become commissioned Army Officers.
