| Description |
English: Empty lake in St Jamess Park The lake has been drained for a clean up. It is being done in two sections to allow access to the water and an island for the wildlife. This is the first time it has been drained for 22 years. On the right is an island that usually provides sanctuary for birds on the lake. This image is taken facing the Mall - behind the trees, barely visible, is Lancaster House. |
