Description
English: Competition catalogue: Photo of the shop window of the Königlich privilegierte Elephanten-Apotheke (pharmacy), owner: Dr R. Hoffbauer. Participation in the Berlin shop window competition in 1910. Award: silver medal. Evaluation text in the appendix (translated): "The window shows the essence of the pharmacy symbolised in an extract, so to speak. The symbolic attributes in the form of glass vials filled with different coloured tinctures, the retorts, pastilles, pills and tablets. Finally, the pharmacy's three well-known specialities: Dr Strahl's house pills and Dr Hoffbauer's degreasing tablets and lecithin pills to strengthen the nerves."
Deutsch: Wettbewerbskatalog: Foto des Schaufensters der Königlich privilegierten Elephanten-Apotheke, Inhaber: Dr. R. Hoffbauer. Beteiligung am Berliner Schaufensterwettbewerb 1910. Prämierung: silberne Medaille. Bewertungstext im Anhang: "Das Fenster zeigt das Wesen der Apotheke sozusagen im Extrakt versinnbildlicht. Die symbolischen Atribute in Gestalt der mit verschieden gefärbten Tinkturen gefüllten Glasphiolen, die Retorten, Pastillen, Pillen und Tabletten.
