Description |
So-called "Edlinger Mozart". The authenticity of this portrait has not been proven. The painting's history from its origin until 1934 is still a matter of ongoing research. It is uncertain, however, if this part of its history can ever be clarified. Despite of this problem, the painting has attracted much attention because of its high artistic quality and because of being a strong candidate for the last portrait of the composer. |
