Summary[edit]

Description

Ebony wood (public display, Warther Museum, Dover, Ohio, USA)

Ebony is a type of biogenic gem. It is a black-colored, ornamental wood that has been used for millennia. Ebony is one of the few woods that does not float in water - it is quite heavy for its size.
