Summary[edit]

Description

A closeup through the quartz window on an old EPROM memory chip I found in my basement in a box of electronics parts. The window is so that the chip can be erased using UV light; modern memory chips (such as EEPROM) are now electrically erasable. This shot was taken with a lens inverter on my standard 18-55mm macro lens.
