Title
English: E.C. Morgan's store at Lester, Washington, ca. 1912
Description
English:

In 1913, Lester, Washington, had a population of 400 people. Northern Pacific Railroad trains stopped regularly at Lester to take on coal or have the engine serviced. In addition to a hotel, saloon, dairy and restaurant, Lester had a general store, owned by E.C. Morgan, the city's postmaster. This photographic postcard, postmarked 1912, shows Morgan's store.

Written on verso: [Message:] I received every one of your letters and I'm just dying to play on those new tennis courts. I'll be home next week sometime I think. Mrs. Morgan is going up to the mountains next week and maybe I will stay with Chuck. They will be back next Saturday. Original photographic print (postcard): Waters, V.S., ca. 1912. Copied in 1998 by the Museum of History and Industry.
