Summary[edit]

Description
English: Dun Murchaidh This must have been an ideal site for a dun in prehistoric times, being perched on the end of a steep-sided promontory. There's no sign of any old walls or earthworks there now, but the area has been extensively farmed for many years since those days, so it's quite plausible that the stones have since been robbed out. The islands in the background are (right to left) Rum, Eigg and Skye.
