Summary[edit]

Description
English: A view of the dry docks along the St. Louis River Front with the Mississippi River in the background. A boy with a small boats can be seen on the shore, and many large steamboats are docked. Some men can be seen on the ships, and also some architecture can be seen in the background off to the right. Inscribed in the bottom-left corner is "View on the Mississippi River". The frame around the daguerreotype has "Easterly" engraved in its lower-left corner and "Artist" engraved in the lower right.
