| Description |
English: Doulton Fountain The Doulton Fountain in Glasgow Green. The largest terracotta fountain in the world. Its theme is a celebration of the British Empire, and it was gifted to the city by Sir Henry Doulton (of the Royal Doulton company)at the time of the Empire Exhibition in 1888. It was then in Kelvingrove Park but was moved to Glasgow Green in 1890. |
