Summary[edit]
DescriptionDisused lock and weir on River Darenth - geograph.org.uk - 1170816.jpg |
English: Disused lock and weir on River Darenth As seen from Darenth Valley Footpath (long distance path) heading into Dartford. Visible are the remains of Dartford Lock which was the main engineering feature of the Dartford and Crayford Navigation. The lock and weir are still the official tidal limit, although the removal of the lock gates means that the stretch above is now also tidal. |
