DescriptionDistribution facility for J Sainsbury, Hams Hall - geograph.org.uk - 1176403.jpg |
English: Distribution facility for J Sainsbury, Hams Hall See the orange lorries? This incredible building, over 500 metres long, closes the eastern end of Canton Lane, Hams Hall National Distribution Park, near Coleshill, North Warwickshire. Excellent bird's-eye views at http://maps.live.com, which show about 150 lorries loading. Tim Marshall's picture from the opposite direction, 'Fields near Whitacre Junction' SP2191 shows the Hams Hall power stations on this site in 1984. The last one was demolished in 1993. |
