Français : Endoscope de Desormeaux, modifié, dans The Pathology and Treatment of Stricture of the Urethra and Urinary Fistulae de Sir Henry Thompson (1885). Légende : « The endoscope first used by Desormeaux but the lamp adopted by him is replaced by a gas jet and reflector (suggested by Mr. M. B. Hill). The same optical apparatus is employed with a powerful paraffine lamp inclosed in a mahogany case.  »
