Description
English: An Army soldier marks a private residence after a house-to-house search of a flooded neighborhood in New Orleans, La., on Sept. 11, 2005. Rescue personnel mark each building to ensure that each home has been searched. Department of Defense units are mobilized as part of Joint Task Force Katrina to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency's disaster relief efforts in the Gulf Coast areas devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
