Description
English: Navy rescue swimmer Mark Podzon jumps from an UH-3H Sea King helicopter into the Flores Sea in Indonesia during a man overboard drill conducted by the USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19) on 14 February 2000. Podzon is an Aviation Ordnanceman 3rd Class attached to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Light Squadron 51, deployed to the Blue Ridge from Naval Air Facility, Atsugi, Japan. The Blue Ridge is en route to the Persian Gulf where it will join Operation Southern Watch.
