MR-7887 Figure 2-24 Installing Cable Access Cover (Wort Cover) 25 VT18X UPGRADE KIT INSTALLATION TURN POWER ON You are now ready to turn the power on. Use the following procedure. 1. Make sure that the power is off by setting the 1 /0 switch on the top disk unit to 0 (off). SeeFigure 2-22. 2. Plug the ac line cord from the back of the top disk unit into a wall receptacle. 3. Remove warning sticker from each disk drive. Open the door on the front of each disk drive(Figure 2-25) and remove the cardboard that was inserted for protection during shipment. 4. Set the 110 switch on the back of the video terminal to 1. 5. If two disk units are installed, set the 110 switch on the bottom disk unit to 1. NOTE: If two disk units are installed, the 1/0 switch on the bottom disk unit should stay at 1(on). Power for the entire system is turned on and off by the 1/0 switch on the top disk unit. 6. Set the 110 switch on the top disk unit to 1 (on). The system takes approximately 15 seconds to warm up
