Summary[edit]
DescriptionDebris dumped down a cliff onto gravel bank of Klamath River (3906944744).jpg |
Approximately 33 tons of illegally dumped trash and recyclables were dumped down a 400 to 500-foot cliff onto a gravel bank of Roaches Creek, which feeds into the Klamath River in Northern California. During high river flows the debris could be carried to the Pacific Ocean. In October 2008, the California Integrated Waste Management Board and the Yurok Tribe cleaned up this site.
